Dental bridges are a more permanent option for replacing one or more missing teeth. Bridges have false teeth that are supported by anchor crowns, or abutment crowns, which hold a bridge in place. These abutment crowns are cemented to the natural teeth on either side of the open space. Bridges are usually made of porcelain, metal, or a combination of the two.
